Ultra Violet. For a long time I have been avoiding all shades of purple – it was the least favorite of colors to me. Until shortly ago when Pantone named it the Color of Year 2018 (#COY2018).
It gave me a new reason to pursue and experiment with the color. Admittedly it is a difficult color to combine. So here part 1 of a little how to wear ultra violet.
Violet on Violet
In this outfit, I made the violet of the blouse the main popping feature. The violet re-appears more lightly in my sun glasses so that the color doesn’t feel out of place.
I am wearing COY2018 with flared suit pants. The structure makes the look more lively while its grey stays harmonious with the purple. Black shoes and black purse to keep it classic.
